Niketas 159 was kouboukleisios and strateutes of the Opsikion; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Laurent, Orghidan 218. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Νικιτ' - κουβουκλ και - στρατεπ - τι του Οψι - .ι.. The name and titles read: Νικήτᾳ κουβουκλεισίῳ καὶ στρατεπτῇ τοῦ Ὀψικίου. For the title στρατεπτής instead of στρατευτής, see Laurent, note to 218.
