Leo 141 was basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Hellas; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century (mid ninth century, according to Laurent, REB 7 (1949), p. 121, or tenth century, according to Seibt, in Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 93): Konstantopoulos, JIAN 5, 45 ( = Schlumberger, Mélanges, 38). The name and titles read: Λέοντι βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στ[ρ]ατηγῷ Ἑλ[λά]δος. Schlumberger read Λεοντι β' as Λεοντιω. See Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, pp. 93 and 95 for the dates.
