Konstantinos 196 was apo eparchon and genikos kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Constantinople; owner of two seals dateable to the late seventh century or the early eighth: Zacos and Veglery 201, 202. The name and titles on both seals read: Κωνσταντίνου ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων καὶ γενικοῦ κομμερκιαρίου ἀποθήκης Κωνσταντινουπόλεως (or similar). See Zacos and Veglery, p. 155. He was possibly identical with Konstantinos 116 and/or Konstantinos 299.
