Georgios 80 was archbishop of Crete; owner of a seal dateable to the late eighth century: DOSeals II 36.9 = Zacos and Veglery 1913 = Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1753 = Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 144, no. 2. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .εωρ. - ιω αρχιε - πισκοπω - Κριτης. The name and title read: Γεωργίῳ ἀρχιεπισκόπῳ Κρήτης.
