Domitios 6 was apo eparchon and exartistes; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1853 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 734. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Δ. - μετιω - απο επα - ρχων και ε - ξαρτης - τη+. The name and titles read: Δομετίῳ ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων καὶ ἐξαρτιστῇ. The exartistes was head of the naval arsenal at Constantinople; see Oikonomides, Listes, p. 316.
