Anonymus 628 was the hegoumenos of the monastery of Maximinos; some time between 821 and April 824 Anonymus 628 met Niketas 43 at Cape Akritas and produced a document expressing his opinion that there was a distinction between the eucharist and communion; this was reported to Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) by Athanasios 19, and Theodoros 15 wrote a letter in condemnation to Niketas 43, asking that it be shown to the hegoumenos: Theod. Stud., Ep. 452.
