Anonymus 98 was a chartoularios of the euageis, sc. oikoi; owner of a seal probably dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Ebersolt, Sceaux byzantins , p. 227, no. 324. Obv.: bust of saint John with invocative formula. The reverse has the title χαρτουλάριος τῶν εὐαγῶν. On the euageis oikoi, cf. ODB II, p. 736.
