Anastasios 34 was megas meizoteros; owner of two (identical) seals dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 544, no. 3 (no facsimile) = Salinas," Sigilli diplomatici", vol. 6, p. 217, pl. VIII. Two examples survive in Syracuse. The text given by Schlumberger reads: Θεοτόκε βοήθει (in cruciform monogram) τῳ σῳ δουλῳ Ἀναστασιῳ μεγαλῳ μειζοτερῳ. Cf. also Anastasios 49 and Anastasios 83.
