Ali 4 was ostiarios; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 448. Obv.: +κεβο - ηθειτ. - .ωδουλ, i.e. Κ(ύρι) ε βοήθει τ[ῷ σ]ῷ δούλ(ῳ). Rev.: +Αλη - .στηα - .ηω, i.e. Ἀλὴ [ο]στηα[ρ]ήῳ. Presumably the owner's name was the Arabic Ali, indeclinable in Greek.
